Every day, vast amounts of waste plastics are generated worldwide. Traditional disposal methods such as landfilling and incineration are resource-intensive and fail to effectively address environmental concerns. Pyrolysis technology presents a practical and sustainable solution by converting waste plastics into high-value liquid fuel oil. This process not only offers significant environmental benefits but also delivers strong economic returns.

Huayuan Tech specializes in designing and developing advanced facilities that convert waste plastics into high-quality liquid fuels. Utilizing continuous liquefaction technology with indirect heating and a proprietary catalytic process, the system transforms plastic waste into hydrocarbon gases, which are then cooled and condensed into ASTM-grade diesel and a custom heating fuel blend.

These fuels meet and exceed regulatory standards and can be used directly in diesel engines—including those in trucks, buses, trains, boats, heavy machinery, and generators—without any engine modifications. Each tonne of waste plastic processed can yield approximately 950 liters of premium diesel fuel.

The system is engineered for flexibility, capable of processing mixed plastic feedstocks without prior sorting. Common contaminants such as grit, paper, metal, food residue, and oils do not require removal. Moreover, the technology can efficiently handle high concentrations of PVC, PET, and ideal polyolefins without damaging the reactor or generating excessive emissions.
